Hey Tar Heel Radio Listeners, we just wanted to pop in and give an update about our programming!

We have temporarily opened EAS Filters on our Sage Digital Endec that powers the NC Alert stream to relay alerts for South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida ahead of Hurricane Helene.

We will revert back to normal programming on Sunday, September 29th.

The normal track rotations will continue on and song request are still open! You just will notice an increase in Emergency Alerts across the main stream. If you wish to listen to the radio station and not hear Emergency Alerts, please utilize our No Alerts stream!
